Ever the proud father, Tom Cruise jetted to London Thursday for an apparent surprise visit to son Connor Cruise, who was DJing at the Big Smoke's megaclub Chinawhite.
According to TMZ, the 17-year-old, who goes by the DJ name C-Squared, "loved the surprise" and "hugged it out" with Tom, who then spent two hours in the VIP section while playing the part of gushy dad and chatting with daughter Isabella. (Also, ever the strict father, Cruise reportedly monitored everything that came in and out of the DJ booth, including absolutely no alcohol). But all of this leaves us with the burning question: does everything Cruise does always have to be so... publicly big? Or does the world's biggest movie star just not care anymore about stages or lack thereof?
The sweet surprise comes at the same time details surfaced about Cruise's settlement with former wife Katie Holmes, with Holmes reportedly set to receive $400,000 per year in child support from the "Mission Impossible" actor.
