We love Tom Hanks for his on-screen talent, his model marriage with Rita Wilson and his all around good-guy-ness. And we were once again reminded of why he's our favorite down-to-earth A-list actor when he posted this awesome throwback photo on Instagram yesterday, taking us back to the 1970s.
In what appears to be a yearbook photo, Hanks rocks a long, seriously wavy 'do that's a far cry from his regular, shorter cut.
Hanks posted the photo to promote the CNN series, "The Seventies," which he helped produce.
All we can say is, we dig the hair too, Tom. We dig the hair.
