Then we developed a weighted average between the two platforms (there are WAY more gay app users on Android than IOS and the differences in opinion were sometimes startling).

Notice that there is actually a 4-way tie for first place, but we subscribe to the "theory of large numbers" which states that data stability can only be achieved with large numbers. Hence, the 4.1 average rating that Jack'd got is more "stable" than the 4.1 that GrowlR got because it has triple the number of reviews. Therefore, we ranked it accordingly.
