Something interesting has been happening over the past few weeks - so many of the women I work with have all been running up the same thing...FEAR.

It's something that comes up again and again - for me and for the women I work with.

How do we feel SECURE, CONFIDENT & FEARLESS enough to put ourselves out into the world in the face of fear?

A wonderful friend recently asked me how I don't doubt myself in my work. She was sharing that she feel like she has a lot to give the world, but she just freaks out and gets stuck when it comes to actually putting herself out there.

Fear stops her = fear of being judged, fear of being seen, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of ANYTHING ... we all have it!

She was basically asking, "What gives you the confidence to do the things you do?"

And it's something I see all the time in the women I work with - we all have fear - no matter how "secure" and "successful" we seem to be. We all often feel scared, not prepared, or not good enough, especially when we want to break out the box and live in a different want. I'm no exception.

So what allows any of us bust through our insecurities?

Here are the Top 3 Tips to Kick Insecurity to the Curb:

These tips apply if you're building a business, raising a family, discovering your life purpose, trying to break out of the box and just feel stuck and scared sometimes.

1) Find mentors & friends who are already doing what you desire to do:

They are your inspiration. They aren't competitors. They exist so you can be totally inspired! So, who's doing what you desire to do? Who's living the life you want to live? Who seems to have something they can teach you?

Whatever you want...who's doing that thing?

Find those people and LEARN from them! Use them as inspiration. If they can do it, you can do it because we're all the same. What you see in them already exists in you. You just need the roadmap to get you there.

2) Identify your limiting beliefs (aka FEARS)

What are the stories you're telling yourself around your life? Do you think life has to be hard? Do you feel like you'll never have the body, the relationship, or passion for life you truly want? Are you afraid it'll just never come together? Do you feel like you're not good enough or confident enough?

This step is about noticing where you stop yourself. Take those limiting beliefs and flip them to positive statements for yourself. Say them all the time. See the fears. Move forward anyways.

3) Do it before you're ready

You will never be "ready". You will never be fearless. The key is to get out there and do it. Just take the next obvious action-step forward and know that Life will show you what's next. You are being guided and it is safe. You're never going to feel totally ready, totally together, or totally perfect. Those are illusions and fear's way of keeping you safely put where you are.

If you want your life to change, you have to do something differently...even when you're scared.
