We're approaching the second half of summertime, but there are still quite a few weeks left until Labor Day hits and the weather cools down. Perhaps it's time to plan a quick getaway and take advantage of the season!

And there's no better place for a weekend getaway than The Entertainment Capital of the World: Vegas.

Las Vegas is known for a variety of activities that one can indulge in while they're there, so chances are you and your friends will have no problem finding a variety of things to do.

But first things first? You need to figure out where you're doing to stay.

In a city that had more than 42 million visitors last year, the amount of different places to stay is almost overwhelming. Even limiting yourself to just the Strip, you have more than a few different options for hotels, each with their own distinct vibes and personalities.

Luckily, planning your trip just got a bit easier! I've gathered up a list of five great hotels to stay at during the summer.

I'm confident that you'll find one of these to be a good fit - where you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a few days of nonstop fun.

1. The Cosmopolitan.
If you're looking for a summer vacation full of lights and sparkle, you should make The Cosmopolitan your hotel of choice for the event. The entire lobby and casino is filled with crystals and you can even grab a drink at the Chandelier Bar, a place that is just as glamourous as it sounds. You can also party all day and all night at Marquee Day and Night Club, where DJs like Porter Robinson frequently perform.
