Top 10 Best-Selling Ebooks -- Week of February 21

It's perhaps noteworthy to find Paula Hawkins's The Girl on the Train settle into its fourth week at No. 1, even while a considerable handful of media-tie ins filled out the spots beneath it in the week heading into the Oscars.

It may seem odd to call To Kill a Mockingbird, a classic novel as well as a classic film -- and currently the No. 17 best-selling ebook -- a "media tie-in" the way that plenty of its compatriots on the Digital Book World Ebook Best-Seller List are, like Fifty Shades of Grey or Gone Girl.

But the term isn't a value judgment on either the books in question or the films they give rise to. And while Harper Lee's return to the Best-Seller List is almost certainly due to anticipation for her recently rediscovered Go Set a Watchman, rather than excitement surrounding a film release, To Kill a Mockingbird still offers a good reminder that best-selling books and movies have complemented each other for quite some time.

All that considered, it's perhaps noteworthy to find Paula Hawkins's The Girl on the Train settle into its fourth week at No. 1, even while a considerable handful of media-tie ins filled out the spots beneath it in the week heading into the Oscars.
