Gone Girl rounds out its fifth week at the top of the Digital Book World Ebook Best-Seller List as Jodi Picoult's Leaving Time debuts at No. 2.

Both titles retail for $4.99. The past few weeks saw higher-priced ebooks of $10 or more making inroads on the best-seller list, nudging the average price up to $8.39 last week.

But that figure takes a sharp downturn this week, dropping to $6.91 as some best-selling titles shed a few dollars and other less-expensive ebooks climb the ranks.

7. Deadline (Virgil Flowers Book 8) by John Sandford (Penguin Random House) -- $11.99

8. Burn (Michael Bennett Book 7) by James Patterson; Michael Ledwidge (Hachette) -- $4.99

9. Dark Places: A Novel by Gillian Flynn (Penguin Random House) -- $4.99
