Watch This Tenacious Tortoise Desperately Attempt To Catch Up To A Toy Pickup

We've all heard the fable of "The Tortoise and the Hare." Well, this tortoise ditched his furry opponent for a more fast and furious rival -- a toy truck.

In this video uploaded to YouTube, a tortoise tries his absolute hardest to catch up with a tiny blue remote controlled truck. The little guy scrambles his way to the blue truck. Every time it looks as though he will close in on the truck, it zooms ahead leaving the tortoise in the dust.

Watch at the 0:12 mark, where the truck decides to back up and drive in the opposite direction, making the tortoise very suspicious and confused by its racing tactics. When the truck resumes driving forward, the tortoise continues on with his desperate quest to catch up to his little blue rival.

It's OK little guy, "slow and steady" can't win every race, but we admire that perseverance!
