The much anticipated Amy Poehler vehicle, Parks & Recreation, is coming soon to Thursday nights on NBC. The show, once billed as an Office spin-off, was created by Office executive producers and stars Rashida Jones, an ex-Office co-star.
Poehler plays Leslie Knope, an upbeat town official in Indiana, who is trying to turn a construction pit into a park. The show premiers April 9.
