Train Spottings Is Looking To Hire Some 'Subway Cupids'

'Subway Cupid' Is A Job Now

Want to pick up some extra bucks? Enjoy creeping on people in the subway? Then you might find this Train Spottings Craigslist ad calling for "subway cupids" right up your alley.

The responsibilities of said "subway cupids" are to flutter through train cars, slipping calling cards into the pockets, books and bags of alleged cuties, so that no straphanger ever has another dreaded missed connection again.

"Love Conductor" Erika Christensen told Brokelyn that they're ideally looking for romance "nerds" who have backgrounds in promotional work:

Subway cupids’ are essentially recruiters. We need smart, magnetic and DISCIPLINED people to help us snag the best singles out of the subway. Now, this doesn’t always mean striking up convos. We’ve found great success with ‘stick pocketing’ meaning getting our card to the people however we can- in books they’re reading, back pockets, Trader Joe’s bags, etc - I have tried them ALL.

Subway cupids get paid $1 for every card handed. If their spotted hottie makes a call, cupids can make anywhere between $50-$200 commission.
