This Truck That Turns Into A Helicopter Is Basically Out Of 'Transformers'

If "Transformers" were real, this is probably something close to how they'd look.

Advanced Tactics, a military contractor, created this half-vehicle, half-helicopter with an eye to U.S. military use. The transformer could be used to reach wounded soldiers in dangerous situations or resupply cargo in places otherwise inaccessible to the standard car, according to the company website.

NBC News reported that Black Night was proposed as a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) project, and Advanced Tactics has developed it with money from the Army, Marine and Air Force lab programs. This prototype cost $2 million.
