Transphobic Woman Goes On Rampage, Warns Of ‘Devil Rape’ At Target

It's the latest in a series of disturbing "Christian" rants.

Video footage of an unidentified woman storming through Target store protesting the retail giant's transgender restroom pledge has gone viral after being posted to YouTube this weekend.

In the clip, which can be viewed above, the woman tells customers and staff at a Target franchise in an undisclosed location that she is "disgusted" by the company's vow to allow transgender patrons to use the restroom that best corresponds with their gender identity.

"Target would have you believe with their Mother’s Day displays that they love mothers and children. This is a deception," proclaims the woman -- who is holding a Bible and has a huddle of what appears to be family members, including children, in tow. "This is not love and they’ve proven it by opening their bathrooms to perverted men!"

Calling herself a mother of 12, the woman warns fellow moms to “get your children out of this store” because it is a “dangerous place.”

"Are you gonna let the devil rape your children, America? It's time to stand up and have a voice, instead of bowing to the homosexual, perverted agenda that's taken over this nation," she screams, before exiting the store.

The video has garnered over 65,000 views since it was uploaded to YouTube on May 14. It's the latest in a series of disturbing videos which show purported Christians in the aisles of Target stores decrying Target's policy toward transgender-friendly restrooms.

Earlier this month, police were reportedly called about an active shooter situation after a 39-year-old man created a disturbance inside a Target store in Bradley, Illinois. Responding officers arrested Michael L. Merichko for disorderly conduct, but said they found no firearm.

Target's announcement also provoked the American Family Association to circulate an online boycott pledge, since signed by more than 1.2 million people

However, in a May 11 interview on CNBC's "Squawk Box," Target CEO Brian Cornell said the retailer had no plans to bow to protesters and would continue implementing its trans-friendly bathroom policy.

We took a stance, and were going to continue to embrace our belief of diversity and inclusion and just how important that is to our company," Cornell said. Noting that the company had endured "a lot of tough feedback," he added, "Sitting here today, I know we made the right decision.”
