Definitely not your everyday bootcamp
Their next program starts inMarchin Ubud, Bali,at a co-working space in tropical paradise. The co-working space features two pools, an on-site restaurant and even free massages to give you breaks throughout the day.CodingNomads helps students find housing, and also offers an inclusive package that includes scooter rental, airport pickup and a pre-paid SIM card.
The program lasts for 12 weeks, which includes 8 weeks onsite and 4 weeks online. During the program, students will focus on learning Java, SQL and AWS - Java being the programming language; SQL representing the data management; and Amazon Web Services (AWS) covering the infrastructure required to run the whole show. This gives students a solid foundation in server-side software engineering that they can apply to tons of jobs worldwide. The founders note that CodingNomadsis one of the very few coding bootcamps that teaches server-side technologies, as most others primarily teach client-side (web development) technologies. Skills to build your career anywhere
With the goal of preparing students for life as a software engineer, students will graduate with more than 400 hours of instruction and hundreds of practical exercises. In the 8 weeks onsite, students will be in class and working on projects full-time. Together they will design and build a software application that they can use for their resume and portfolio, also training students on the online communication and project management tools used in the industry.
