Travis Krages, Teen With Cerebral Palsy, Scores Touchdown For Team Win (VIDEO)

Fifteen-year-old Travis Krages' cerebral palsy confines him to a wheelchair, but he's still never missed a practice with his local football team.

The teen has been assisting his stepbrother's youth football coach in Fairdale, Ky., for the past three years, WLKY reports, but always from the sidelines.

"I look at him and just think, ‘Man, I'd give anything if he was out here.' And he’s even said that to me, ‘I wish I could get out there,’” his mother, Tracy Krages, told WLKY.

That wish finally came true on Sunday night when Krages not only got his share of game time, but also scored a touchdown that helped bring his team to victory. His teammates pushed him all the way to the end zone as both teams and the entire crowd burst into applause.

"When he got to know what those kids felt like when they cross that touchdown line, it was just so awesome," his mother told WLKY.

Last year a Massachusetts boy with cerebral palsy competed in a triathlon with his older brother, and a Jamaican man with the disease recently had his digital art featured in the National Gallery of Jamaica.
