Treehouse In Manhattan Mansion Backyard Offers Touch Of Suburbia In The City (PHOTOS)

LOOK: A Mansion That Comes With...A Treehouse?

When you're living in the city, it can be hard to carve out a quaint existence. But that didn't stop one builder from constructing the ultimate suburban-backyard staple: the treehouse.

The Upper East Side mansion, which belongs to CC Dyer (formerly married to Geraldo Rivera), is currently on the market and features a 14-foot-high treehouse in the backyard ... AKA every kid's dream.

And it's admittedly fancier than your everyday garden variety treehouse. For example: wooden siding painted in a warm teal, casement windows and a proper shingled roof are just a few of the fort's offerings. Not bad.

For around $10.5 million this treehouse and mansion can be yours.

Check out photos of the property in the slideshow below, then head over to Corcoran for the complete listing.
