Tress for Success

In celebration of Verizon’s 20th anniversary, Up To Speed is teaming up with BUILD to spotlight the human networks - the people, stories and courageous conversations - that move the world forward. February is Black History Month and there has been no shortage of news and stories about hair and the African-American community - so our topic this month is “Tress for Success.” This will be an elevating and empowering conversation about hair as a metaphor for how we show up and bring our authentic selves to the workplace. Although we’re talking hair, this is really a broader conversation for everyone.
