Trey Burke Three-Point Shot: Michigan Rallies To Defeat Kansas In Sweet 16 (VIDEO)

WATCH: Burke Forces OT As Michigan Rallies For Upset Win

Trey Burke may have gotten off to a slow start against Kansas in the Sweet 16 but he came through when it mattered most. After a scoreless first half, Burke poured in 23 points as No. 4 Michigan rallied for an upset win over the top seed in the South Region.

With his team's time in the tournament seemingly running out in the final seconds of the second half, the Big Ten player of the year drained a deep three-point shot to force overtime.

Burke's shot capped a stunning comeback for the Wolverines, who trailed 70-59 with just 3:57 remaining. The sensational sophomore point guard stayed hot in the extra session, sinking another three-point shot on Michigan's first possession.

"This is unreal. I mean he is putting on a clinic out here," TBS analyst Steve Kerr said after Burke scored his second basket of overtime, staking the Wolverines to a 81-80 lead.

Michigan would hold on for a 87-85 win.
