Trish Regan: Bloomberg Television's Newest Anchor

Bloomberg Television's Newest Anchor

Former CNBC anchor and CBS News correspondent Trish Regan will join Bloomberg Television. The network made the announcement on Monday.

Regan will join the network as the co-anchor of "Street Smart," the afternoon program which airs from 3-5 p.m. Bloomberg also announced that Regan will host primetime specials and play an active role in Bloomberg's coverage of the 2012 presidential election.

Bloomberg launched its official coverage of the 2012 presidential race, branded "Economy Election," in October with the network's first-ever GOP debate.

Head of Bloomberg Television in the U.S. Andrew Morse described Regan as "an accomplished broadcast journalist and skilled reporter who has covered some of the most important global economic stories of our time."

Regan has also blogged for The Huffington Post.
