When something happens that threatens Internet freedoms, the Internet responds as only the Internet can: by trolling. In reaction to last week's realization that the U.S. government is collecting and looking at data from Internet companies like Google, Facebook and Apple through a secretive program codenamed PRISM, a website called "Operation Troll The NSA" has been created.
It's unclear who's behind the website (we reached out for comment), but its mission is to get as many people as possible to send an email or make a phone call at the same time containing a specific script (below) filled with terrorist jargon in order to "jam up the NSA's scanners."
"They say they don't read or listen to the contents of our messages," the site reads. "Why not test it out? It'll be fun."

I just read this article about how these free radical particles can cause the downfall of good health and accelerate aging. These could actually cause death to millions of Americans. If these particles are flying around undetected everywhere, does that mean we’re all radicalized?
Have you seen the second season of Breaking Bad? I just finished it. I couldn’t believe that episode where they poison the guy with ricin! That was the bomb! I won’t say any more because I don’t want to reveal the earth-shattering events to come.
Oh! So I’ve been planning a big trip for the summer. I’m thinking of visiting all of the most famous suspension bridges in the United States. So probably like the Golden Gate Bridge, The Brooklyn Bridge, and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. I’m gonna bring my younger brother and I know he’ll want to go to bars, so I’m thinking of getting him a fake drivers license, but I hope that doesn’t blow up in my face.

Since the National Security Agency is collecting all this data in order to prevent terrorist attacks, the script is filled with misleadingly words like "bomb," "ricin" and "overthrow" in a seemingly innocuous email to a friend. The site suggests that people email the script or call a friend and recite it at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. "They've done a fine job monitoring us. Let's see how they handle this," the site reads. The site features a countdown clock leading to the big moment.
Unfortunately, besides "trolling" the government, there is little anyone can do to fight back against NSA surveillance.
UPDATE: As The Daily Beast reports, Buzzfeed staffers Chris Baker and Mike Lacher were behind this site. Baker confirmed this in an email to The Huffington Post.
