Trucks On Midtown Brings Mobile Gourmet To South Beach Wine And Food Festival 2013 (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Inside Trucks At Midtown

"This isn't a fad. This isn't a rage," said host and "Bizarre Foods" star Chef Andrew Zimmern.

And judging from the turnout at Trucks On Midtown's Tracks for South Beach Wine and Food Festival, the general public agrees.

Entry lines stretched all the way around the block when Trucks got underway Sunday at 3 p.m. From desserts to cubed bites of Cuba food, there was a food truck for every taste -- including Luther Vandross's, judging from the title of a certain donut cheeseburger.

Zimmern's own truck AZ Canteen served up a hot dog covered in delicious slawkraut and peppers, but it was Miami's own saucy Ms. Cheezious who took the People's Choice Award for the second year in a row.

The turquoise truck's "South In Your Mouth Melt" had smoked bbq pulled pork, fried pickles, and cheddar on buttery toast -- but as Zimmern put it according to Miami New Times, "You could put out sea urchin and conch ceviche and wine roasted short ribs that shit rainbows."

One thing we really loved about Trucks: the tent was filled with billiards, ping pong, and cornhole so foodies could work off a little of the intake between bites -- and it was nice for mainland Miami to get a little love from SOBEWFF. Check out our photos below:
