VIDEO: Gay Men's Chorus Of Los Angeles Film 'It Gets Better' Video To Combat Teen Suicides

Via LA Times: The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles has just released their own version of the It Gets Better video, Dan Savage's project to show gay teens what it's like to accept yourself as an "openly gay adult."

The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles began in the 1970s as a response to the gay civil rights movement and is now "one of the country's largest men's choral ensembles." In their It Gets Better video, they sing "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper, forgoing their usual performance blacks and concert hall venues for multi-hued street clothes on an indoor basketball court. LA Times reports "The group said that more than 200 people participated in the five-minute video, which was filmed at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church in L.A."

We dare you not to cry at the bridge, when family members, friends, and community members lend their voices to support the Los Angeles' Gay Men's Chorus.
