Trump and Super Pacs or Rise of Orwellian Dictatorship

We keep reading Trump chastising politicians who are answerable only to their super pac donors. Although that is a terrible distortion of our democratic election, we should recall that it was imposed upon us by the 5/4 Supreme Court decision (dominated by Republicans) who decided corporations are people and can contribute unlimited funds to campaigns thru their disguised proxies, super pacs.

As bad as that is, at least politicians are answerable to their big donors, who may have competing interests and provide a modicum of diversity, albeit on the top. Trump's self-financed campaign is answerable not to a few competing super rich on the top, but only to one, and that is no one, but the super rich Trump, an untested, smooth-talking TV character and casino owner. Some even see him as a self indulgent business shiester who has no qualms about manipulating all laws, bankruptcy and others, to enrich himself. He would be answerable to only one donor, Trump.

Wow! Should we leave the future of our country, the greatest promise land in the history of the world, in the hands of this untested narcissist, with multiple pretty wives, who has no respect for women or anyone but himself?! Someone who makes his own rules as he sees fit. Doesn't this smell of an Orwellian media created dictatorship? Be aware my respected fellow compatriots, we will definitely be better off with the devil we know than a charismatic new fascist who feeds on our anger and manipulate our hearts and constitution to suit himself; after all, he has no track record, but to do what pleases him. Please do not forget the lessons of rise of Hitler, when people's anger at their government lead to a historical nightmare.

If Mr. Trump was going to choose a candidate who would be answerable to many we could be choosing Bernie Sanders with millions of small donors to his effort, a seasoned, tested mayor and senator, who despite many years in politics is not rich and stands for intelligent, hard-working, middle-class and working people of all colors and creeds.
