Here's the sleight of hand involving Trumpcare if transposed onto other social services:

Few people need the fire department in their lifetime. Yet every American is forced to pay for their fire department. That's not American -- to force people to pay for services they may not need or want. So anyone who desires a fire truck would show up in case of a fire -- and that's likely older people who own homes, not kids who largely live in apartments, or don't have a lot of personal property at risk -- can contract with a private fire company to protect them. If they can't afford fire protection, too bad.

And what will happen to the billions of dollars that taxpayers won't spend on fire departments? They'll provide major tax cuts for the rich.

There's no difference between the social need for fire and police departments, clean water and national security -- and health care.
