Twice, I Just Missed Guesting on <i>The Tonight Show</i>!

Once again, I think NBC is making a huge mistake dumping Jay Leno!

I twice missed out on being a guest on The Tonight Show.

First, a segment producer actually sent me a letter of confirmation, then interviewed me on the phone for about 45 minutes discussing what I would present on the show. Then, a short time later, he called to say that I had been replaced by a celebrity.Then, he sent me a basket of Italian candies and flowers as an apology.

A week later,he again called and asked if I could be on set in an hour which presented no problem as I live in Glendale,adjacent to Burbank. Then,he again called back to say they were going with a celebrity.Then,I did not here from him again!

Second, I received a call from another segment producer at LAX as I was about to fly to northern Manitoba to hunt for Bigfoot for A Current Affair. She indicated that I would be a guest when I returned to discuss the hunt. But, when I returned, she reversed her position 180 degrees and said I would not be a guest!

I, of course, would still love to be a guest before the show goes off the air!
