When Kyla Winters contracted meningitis, doctors were forced to amputate both legs below the knees and her fingers. But her life was put in serious danger from her failing kidneys, which the disease had damaged, CNN reports.
That's when her twin sister, Liana Thomas, stepped in and donated her own kidney to save Winters' life.
