Tyrese Confronts Taraji P. Henson Over Claims Of Crying During 'Baby Boy' Sex Scene (VIDEO)

WATCH: Tyrese Confronts Taraji Over 'Baby Boy' Sex Scene Claim

Tyrese Gibson made his big screen debut in John Singleton’s 2001 drama, “Baby Boy.” And perhaps one of the film’s most memorable moments was the sex scene featuring Gibson's character and his girlfriend, played by Taraji P. Henson.

During her recent appearance on “The Arsenio Hall Show,” Henson dished on how she prepared for the steamy scene, in addition to revealing Gibson’s hesitation prior to filming.

“We had just met on that film…and you sign up, you know what you have to do. I read the script, it wasn’t a surprise. So I knew what I had to do. But it doesn’t mean that I wasn’t nervous,” she admitted to the late night host. “I dealt with my nerves the night before. I took my clothes off looked in the mirror and dealt with everything that Taraji did not like about Taraji’s body, so that when I did the scene the next day it wouldn’t be about Taraji because Taraji wouldn’t make a sex video.”

“But Yvette is in the room with her man, and so Taraji does not exist in that moment. So I had to deal with Taraji’s stuff the night before. Tyrese did not, however…he was in the corner basically crying.”
