In the early aughts, Ugg boots were the ultimate wardrobe staple. You’d be hard-pressed to find a girl who didn’t wear her Uggs each day, pairing the boots with everything from mini skirts to Juicy Couture tracksuits. With Juicy Couture’s latest tracksuit re-launch, it’s only right that Ugg update its original style.

Out with the old and in with the new—and improved. It’s time to bid adieu to that original sheepskin boot you loved so much, as Ugg is discontinuing the style they so aptly named the “Classic”.

Never fear, though! Just in time for fall, Ugg is debuting the “Classic II”. Style-wise, we dare you to spot the differences, as they are near-replicas of the pair you bought ten years ago.

They boast a heavier tread, which we’re thrilled about because we’ve slipped an embarrassingly large amount of times on an icy sidewalk while wearing them. What’s more? They’ve solved ourbiggest complaint. Remember those horrible water and salt stains that would ruin the suede material? No longer will that be an issue, because Uggs are now—wait for it—waterproof and stain resistant!

If you were weary of buying another pair of the classic Ugg boots, it may be time to change your mind. You can shop them here for $160.
