Throughout the centuries, Islamic fundamentalist scholars have exhorted maximum efforts in maintaining the “true Islamic teachings”. These teachings include the violent version of Sharia Law, which order Muslims to kill non-Muslims and classify them as hypocrites, pagans, disbelievers and even infidels. Islamic fundamentalist scholars have always relied upon religious and devout Muslims to practically defend the religion, and in the majority of the cases, these devout Muslims are educated in the fundamental teachings of Islam and Sharia, hence radicalised.

Islamic reformation is one of the greatest threats that Muslim radicals have been exposed and subjected to. With the world discovering the violent teachings of scriptures considered sacred by the majority of Muslims, they have become aware of the threat that comes with Islamic fundamentalism.

The “Calculated” Plan

In order to prevent true Islamic reformation, Islamic fundamentalists have introduced a new group of people to act as reformers. However, they are not true reformers, and neither have they reformed anything in the past. They are a front to spread Islamic fundamentalism through a very calculated and strategic plan. To begin with, these “reformers” don’t dress in the same style as Islamic radicals, and dress in suits and ties, however their ideology is that of the extremist supporter of ISIS. They do not face any threat from Radical Islamists and lead a very normal life. Whereby a true reformer lives under constant threat and protection. I have had the experience several times now, of reaching out to “reformers” to later discover that they have been trying to covertly neutralise my message. Publicly they are silent or offer only muted criticism of my work, while privately they desperately lobby politicians and media not to engage with me, my suspicions of their true motives and allegiances are growing.

A leaked video from 1989 showed American Muslim activist, Sharifa Alkhateeb, stating that “Education is one of the most important areas that Muslims have to address, and while our final objective is not just to become part of the system that we experience now and that we see, our final objective is to create our own Islamic systems and not only create Islamic systems for Muslims, but to look at all the other people who are sharing this country with us as potential Muslims. And if we look at them as potential Muslims, and feel that we have the obligation which Allah has told us to try and bring them into the same style of thinking, way of behaving and objectives that we have, then we have to have some way that we can communicate with them and some way that we can work with them. And in that long range process, of making America Muslim, All of America Muslims, then we have to have some actual short range goals. We have to have some way of dealing with them, and know how we are going to deal with them, and in which ways, and be very calculated about it, or else we will not accomplish our goals”.

Years after Sharifa Alkhateeb delivered this speech, she received the Community Service Award from the Islamic Society of North America, in September, 2004, making her the first woman to ever receive the honour. During her life, she worked as a diversity consultant with the Fairfax County Public Schools in Fairfax, managing editor of the American Journal of Islamic Social Sciences and co-wrote the Arab World Notebook which is used throughout the American public school system in the United States. She was also the president of the Muslim Education council and had founded the North American council for Muslim Women (NACMW). Sharifa was also elected to participate in the Fourth World Conference on Women convened by the United Nations in Beijing, China. In conjuction with the Department of Justice, she established the Peaceful Families Project and became the Muslim Team Leader for the Cummunity Resilience Project, funded by Federal Emergency management Agency.

It is indeed safe to say that since 1989, the Muslim community of America and Sharifa AlKhateeb have progressed in their goal of making the whole of America Muslim. They had infiltrated government departments and received funding for their missions. It is also without doubt that this seed is still growing, and radical Islamists are joining the American Defence Force while posing as reformers to attract more towards fundamental Islam; and these agendas can be seen by books which call for the revival and restoration of “the soul of Islam”, which without a doubt includes all forms of Sharia Law, instead of calling for a complete ban on what was once appropriate 1400 years ago. Any “reformer” who does not call for a total rejection of extremist Islamic teachings, is either ignorant of this problem and is therefore irrelevant, or they are the knowing covert supporters, or unwitting dupes of radicals.

Spotting a Fake Reformer

A fake reformer refuses to condemn terrorist figures and oppressive tyrant Caliphs who transformed Prophetic succession into kingship, simply because they were the companions and associates of Prophet Mohammad.

They hold on very dearly to the old traditions attributed to the Prophet Mohammad, and do not condemn historical Islamic figures who spread Islam by the sword and are revered till this very day by the majority of Muslims. An undercover radical Islamist appearing to be a reformer is always offended by the statements of true reformers when they announce their rejection of certain sacred Islamic books and or teachings. And for political reasons when reviewing history, they would side with the sacred Caliph against those he beheaded and massacred. This matter can be clearly seen in their rejection of any symbolism that represents those beheaded by the Caliphs, or as I call them, the fathers of ISIS.

An undercover radical is always the first to attack a true reformer by accusing him/her of being divisive and sectarian, sometimes even being an extremist. When in fact, is it such a rhetoric that is considered extreme and intolerant. For a true reformer, Islamic sects and denominations are irrelevant and have as little as no meaning, because a true reformer would only be concerned with the core and essence of the religion, not how many groups there are. A true reformer condemns the violence and extremism in all sects of Islam, and does not fall into the Shia-Sunni sectarian trap. I would invite the readers to take note of Muslims who have been attacking my message, are these people merely naive, or are they in fact a front for a more sinister agenda?

“Reformers” who attack other reformers and accuse them of having affiliations with an Islamic State are in many cases themselves affiliated with a foreign Islamic agenda. Or that they could see the presence of other reformers as a matter of financial threat to their empire. It is also safe to say that fake reformers receive orders from a higher Islamic authority to bring down true reformers whenever they come to their attention or start to influence the masses.

A fake reformer is always prepared to point out and condemn extremism within Islamic sects other than his/her own. It is not enough for a Muslim reformer to condemn ISIS alone. A true reformer condemns the fathers of ISIS: the terrorist companions of Prophet Mohammad, who transformed prophetic succesion into kingship and dynasties, and spread Islam by the sword. These are facts no educated Muslim could ever deny.
