After getting engaged, Eva James and Daryl Pittman decided to tie the knot exactly where they met. So they said their vows at the True Value hardware store.
The South Carolina couple met in the paint aisle of True Value and hit it off immediately, they told local news station WLTX-TV. When they started planning their wedding two months later, Pittman jokingly suggested they get married in the store.
"We were joking around about getting married, 'Oh let's do some redneck wedding.' And he was like, 'Yeah, baby. We should just get married at True Value.' And I was like, 'Oh my gosh, we should,'" James said.
So next to the barbecue grills and tools, the two were wed on Wednesday. Friends, family, store employees and customers looked on as the happy couple said their vows, fed each other wedding cake and even tossed the bouquet.
Perhaps the newlyweds summed it up best: it was "true love at True Value." Watch the video above for more on their hardware store wedding.
Believe it or not, a hardware store is not the most unusual place a wedding has been held. Couples also have gotten hitched at a gas station, 99 cent store, Taco Bell and doughnut shop, to name a few.
