Christmas is just around the corner, leaving us with precious few shopping days 'til the big holiday. If you've been procrastinating, you really need to get on it now. As in: Fire up your browser and start your online shopping as soon as you finish reading this. Why? Because UPS' shipping deadlines for Christmas are happening sooner than you think.
Here's your cheat sheet, from our friends at UPS:
CHRISTMAS
Friday, Dec. 20
Normal pickup and delivery service. UPS 2nd Day Air packages picked up today will be delivered on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Saturday, Dec. 21
Delivery of UPS Worldwide Express, UPS Worldwide Express Freight, UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air shipments processed and labeled for Saturday Delivery.
Pickup service provided for regular Saturday pickup customers of air and international shipments only, or if prearranged by Friday, Dec. 20. All locations of The UPS Store® will be open. This is the last day to ship UPS 2nd Day Air packages in time for Christmas (arriving Tuesday, Dec. 24).
Monday, Dec. 23
Normal pickup and delivery service. This is the last day to ship UPS Next Day Air packages in time for Christmas (delivered on Tuesday, Dec. 24).
Tuesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve
Normal delivery of air, international and ground shipments.
Pickup service available for air and international shipments if prearranged by Monday, Dec. 23. UPS On-Call Pickup service and UPS Drop Boxes are available to all customers for air and international shipments. No UPS Ground, UPS Standard or 3 Day Select pickups until Thursday, Dec. 26.
Wednesday, Dec. 25, Christmas
No UPS pickup or delivery service. (UPS Express Critical service is available for urgent packages. Call 1-800-714-8779 or visit upsexpresscritical.com.)
