Vanessa Hudgens pretty much lives for Coachella and yet she won't be attending either date of the two-weekend music festival in Indio, Calif. this year.

A rep for the actress confirmed to HuffPost Entertainment that the 26-year-old will be missing out on what she once called the "main event of the year" to make her Broadway debut in "Gigi."

Now, there are celebrities crawling all over Coachella, but over the last few years Hudgens has earned herself a reputation as the festival's Queen. In her absence, who will take her flower crown and usurp her throne?

Frankly, our money is on Kylie Jenner. The 17-year-old and her older sister, Kendall, made their debut at the festival last year, and while Kendall came out swinging hard with a ridiculously oversized faux nose ring that practically screamed, "Hello, the spirit of Coachella has invaded my being," she's not queen material. Kylie, on the other hand, approached her festival style in a more relaxed manner and has basically spent the last year perfecting her Instagram game.

Long live the queen?
