"Spring Breakers" star Vanessa Hudgens appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Tuesday night to discuss the debaucherous new film, which includes casual drug use, violent criminal behavior, James Franco talking about "his sh-t" and one threesome.
"We were like, 'This is gonna be fine, right?' We were giving ourselves so much anxiety that we were so much more nervous by the time we actually got to set," Hudgens told Kimmel about the sex scene between herself, Franco and co-star Ashley Benson. "It was just bad."
Joked Kimmel, "Cause you never had a threesome with Zack and Cody on the Disney channel, right?" Hudgens rose to fame on the Disney Channel after appearing in the "High School Musical" franchise.
"I don’t think they would be against it," the star countered.
Kidding aside, Hudgens told MTV she was actually scared of the threesome scene, especially when it came to nudity.
"The thing I was most scared of was the sex scene and the nudity issue behind all of it," Hudgens told MTV. "Because I was not down to show this [gestures to chest]."
Director Harmony Korine was supportive of Hudgens decision, however, and gave her approval over some of the images.
"He let me know it was going to be OK, and at the end of the day, if there's something I don'r like, we can snip it out of there. [...] It was like a great compromise. I think that it turns out really beautiful and artistic."
Hudgens said she trained hard for the film -- which requires her to wear a skimpy bikini throughout -- but was actually told to gain weight once she got on set. To do that, she apparently hit up McDonald’s with pal and co-star Selena Gomez.
