The Vatican Has A Kiki, Chooses A New Pope, According To Amazing Parody (VIDEO)

Amazing Parody Video Shows The Papal Conclave Having A Kiki To Choose New Pope

Everybody wants to have a kiki, even the pope, according to an amazing parody video that "exposes" what really goes on in that super serious, super secret papal conclave.

The YouTube video, posted by the fictional Mrs. Betty Bowers (America's Best Christian!) includes a special memo to the Catholic leaders who will soon be picking a new pope:

"It's time to lock the doors, lower the blinds, fire up the smoke machine -- and pick a pope, girls!'

The video is playing off the sensational "Let's Have A Kiki" music video released in July by the band the Scissor Sisters.

A "kiki," according to the song, is "a party, for calming all your nerves" and the term is popular in queer social circles.

Mrs. Betty Bowers does add a little bite to her satirical version, as the cardinals can be seen choosing between "the sexist," "the homophobe" and "the pedophile."

To be fair, while Mrs. Betty Bowers' version is a little, well, irreverent, the Scissor Sisters' lyrics, which talk about "locking the doors tight," fit well with the conclave process, during which the cardinals seal themselves inside the Sistine Chapel and are not allowed contact with the outside world.
