Venus Williams Style Evolution: Serving Fashion From The Tennis Court To The Runway (PHOTOS)

Happy Birthday, Venus!

Venus Williams has redefined women's tennis with her explosive serves and graceful agility. But the six-foot-one athlete has also made major fashion moves, both on and off the court.

In her younger days, Venus dominated junior tennis tournaments dressed in crisp polo shirts, skorts and braided hairstyles. She gained national acclaim in her teenage years and made the clay courts sing with her head full of beads. Venus went on to clutch winning titles at Wimbledon, the US and Australian Open and Olympics, giving spectators an eyeful in colorful outfits. (Remember this racy red and black number?)

On the red carpet is where Venus' fashion sense really blossomed. The Cali-born beauty has always favored floor-skimming gowns that accentuate her tall and muscular frame, and we love that she isn't afraid to sport wild prints or patterns. And Venus has managed to translate these style elements into her very own clothing line called EleVen. "It's what I've trained for, from the first sketch to the fabric. Making dresses that are different from the usual style, and a lot of fun to wear," she said. Sounds like a winning strategy to us.

In celebration of Venus Williams' 33rd birthday on Monday (June 17), we are taking a look back at her most memorable style moments.
