Vic Mensa And Kanye West Fight A Police Riot In 'U Mad' Video

Vic Mensa just dropped his new video for "U Mad," his second collaboration with Kanye West, and we ain't mad about it.

The video finds Mensa in a red-lit room in a crowd until he's tied up in a straight jacket, Kanye-style. Then Mr. West himself arrives to throw down his verse in a Donda sweatshirt. Soon after, a riot ensues when police in military gear show up and begin throwing tear gas.

The rising Jay Z protege has been vocal about police militarization and racially driven protests before. Last year, Mensa spoke to The Huffington Post about America's "systemized racism" and the events in Ferguson following the death of Michael Brown. "At this point in my life I’m not even saying, 'Fuck the police,'" Mensa told HuffPost. "That’s not my mantra. The way I feel right now is that the police need to be policed."
