Inside The Secretive World Of Guantanamo Bay: Vice News Documentary

In the latest installment a new four-part series pulling back the curtain on Guantanamo Bay, a video crew from Vice News found that even the most seemingly mundane lines of inquiry are not welcome at the secretive facility.

Producer Gianna Toboni and crew toured the detention center's Camp VI, where the most compliant of the nearly 150 detainees reside. While filming in the camp's library, medical clinic and force feeding center, Joint Task Force Guantanamo personnel repeatedly interrupted Toboni's questions, shut off cameras and deleted the crew's footage.

"I was again surprised when my rather boring line of questioning was interrupted," Toboni said after the crew was cut off when asking how non-compliant detainees are transferred to the medical center.

The crew also spoke to Admiral Richard Butler, the commander of JTF Guantanamo, asking him whether he believes the detainees are being held justly.

"Justly, legally, yes, I think we are," he said.
