Throughout the spirited verbal sparring with Vice President Joe Biden, Mitt Romney's running mate could be seen drinking from his water glass. Again and again.
Was it a nervous tic? A way to keep his emotions in check? Or was the air really dry in Kentucky last night? Who knows, but Ryan sure stayed hydrated. And the world noticed:
