Victoria Beckham's Vest Takes NYC By Storm (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Victoria Beckham Makes A '70s-Inspired Statement

Victoria Beckham knows how to make a statement. Be it with her signature pout, an angular haircut or her adorable baby girl, the designer certainly knows how to turn heads.

On a trip to New York City this weekend, The Artist Formerly Known As Posh Spice went shopping (naturally) in a spring look that packed major drama despite NYC's climbing temps. Victoria solved the age-old conundrum of staying cool AND looking cool at the same time by sporting a dramatic camel-colored vest. Part cape, part duster, the sleeveless look minimized fabric bulk while maximizing movement with its wide cut. The best part about this transitional look? It has pockets.

Victoria paired her vest (a tricky garment she's designed before) with wide-leg pants and chunky wedges for a breezy, '70s-inspired look.
