(VIDEO) ABC News Deepens Online Reach via Programming Pact With Yahoo! News

Although ABC News clips currently comprise some 20-25 percent of video news on Yahoo! News, that percentage will increase with the introduction of new orginal Web programming, co-branded segments and live streaming on Yahoo!, says Joe Ruffolo, SVP for Digital at ABC News in this interview with Beet.TV

This morning, ABC News and Yahoo! announced the new joint effort at a glittery New York press conference at the Good Morning America studios.

We spoke with Ruffolo who recently joined ABC News from AOL. He calls the the alliance "transformative" and says that the combination the two organizations' reach, talent and infrastructure to lead the the video news industry.
