'Villa Akbar' Home In Kuwait Might Be The Most Over-The-Top House Ever (PHOTO)

Live in a golden castle surrounded by statues of creatures? Why not!

We absolutely love walking around our neighborhoods and scoping out the real estate. But we have to say, the houses in our neck of the woods are pretty standard. Unlike one community, that's home to the "Villa Akbar" Kuwait estate, which looks like a gothic-style castle.

Reddit user facedawg uploaded a photo of the house, which happens to be located down the street from their home. And from what we can tell, this abode is decked out with decorative wrought iron gates, gold accents and at least a dozen busts of historical people and creatures.

Upon doing some research we learned that this home is located in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, and someone wrote a blog about how it's the "ugliest house in Kuwait." There's also another post from Crazy In Kuwait, where the author suggests that interior designer Nate Berkus comes to transform the mansion. "Quick! Someone call Oprah and have her buddy Nate take a flight to Kuwait and help this poor guy out with some decorating tips!"

Click through our slideshow to see some other unusual houses from around the world, and be sure to head over to Reddit for more information. Oh, and don't forget to let us know if you think this is the ugliest house ever.
