UPDATE: People have taken notice of Vin Diesel's cover of Rihanna's song "Stay," and it may even have helped land him a job.
On Feb. 19, the actor posted another video of himself singing the song, and wrote that after the video went viral he became self-conscious and worried that he shouldn't have exposed himself like that:
"Then I had dinner with my dad, and surprisingly, he said he loved it and though it was deep on a few levels," he wrote on his Facebook page. "The Studio called today and asked if I would be interested in doing a musical. Hmmm... P.s. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, you don't have to be perfect, just believe in yourself."

The 45-year-old actor uploaded a video of himself doing a very special karaoke performance of Rihanna's song "Stay." At 10:47 p.m. the "Fast & Furious 6" star posted the video to his Facebook page and wrote, "Happy V Day..."
We're impressed by his attempt to tackle the song's high notes, but we also can't shake the feeling that Vin Diesel spent Valentine's Day in a dark room singing sad songs all by his lonesome. We know it's belated, but happy Valentine's Day to you too, Vin Diesel.
