Vince Carter One-Handed Reverse Dunk: Mavericks Veteran Goes Baseline Against Clippers (VIDEO)

WATCH: Vince Carter Shows He Can Still Amaze

Years before Blake Griffin was soaring above "Lob City," the skies of the NBA were controlled by "Air Canada."

Although the proportions are certainly not what they used to be, Vince Carter has shown of few flashes of amazing this season with the Dallas Mavericks. Perhaps none of Carter's recent highlights were more emphatic than this baseline drive and slam during a win over Griffin's Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.

Shortly before halftime, Carter had the ball out on the perimeter and was being defended by Randy Foye, who clearly didn't think that a 35-year-old toiling in his 14th season in the NBA could still possess a first step like this. In defense of Foye's lack of defense, we don't think many people were expecting what came next. Carter blew by Foye, getting to the baseline and driving under the rim before rising for a picturesque one-handed reverse slam.

Seeing as how Griffin was in the fifth grade when Carter won the 2000 Slam Dunk contest, this may be the best dunk he's seen from him not on YouTube.
