38-Year-Old Vince Carter Gets Blocked By The Rim During Simple Dunk Attempt

Half-man, half-a-man-aging.

A few days ago, people all over the Internet took the time to pay tribute to one of the best dunks of all time: Vince Carter's slam quite literally over Frederic Weis at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. He was, at the time, truly half-man, half-amazing.

Well, 15 years on, Carter is still in the league, but his hops aren't quite. During a preseason game on Tuesday night, Carter, now a member of the Memphis Grizzlies, went up for a dunk against the Houston Rockets and, well, uh, man.

Sure, he can still get up when he really needs to -- but that missed dunk on Tuesday really cements the passage of time. A lot of NBA fans feel really old right now.
