Mayor Loses His Chief Of Staff Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

Vince Hall, San Diego Mayor Bob Filner's chief of staff, announced his resignation Friday over Twitter.

Hall posted the following tweet on Friday:

Hall's resignation is effective as of today, Fox 5 San Diego reports. Vince Hall previously worked for Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, and his current Twitter profile states that he works there as Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications.

On Thursday, Filner apologized. According to NBC San Diego, the mayor said, "I begin today by apologizing to you. I have diminished the office to which you elected me. I have reached into my heart and soul and realize I must and will change my behavior."
