Since the news broke that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, the hard-partying denizen of MTV's "Jersey Shore," is pregnant, many people have wondered whether or not motherhood will agree with the reality star.
"I think she'll work on it," Snooki's "Jersey Shore" cast mate and former paramour, Vinny Guadagnino, told The Huffington Post.
"It's hard to answer," he continued. "Any mom, whether they're 40 or 24, doesn't know what it is like until the baby is there. Everyone can talk about how irresponsible she is and how she drinks, but you don't know how she'll be when the baby comes out."
However, he had less to say about Polizzi's fiancé, Jionni LaValle, and his competence as a dad-to-be.
"I don't know the kid, but it is going to be a life-changer for him," Vinny said. "But they have good families so they have people to help them.
Vinny added that Snooki's cast members will certainly be there to help, at least as much as they can.
"You know, this is real," he said. "We all get into our hardships with each other and petty arguments but this is real life. She is pregnant and we are there for each other … I think it is a cool thing. It was definitely a shock, but you have to adapt to whatever life throws at you."
There could be some big life changes in store for Vinny too, although there are no babies in his near future. He originally put off the idea of going to law school in order to join MTV's "Jersey Shore" three years ago, but after recently appearing on an entertainment law panel with a group of attorneys at New York's Pace Law School, he has started considering heading back to school.
"I got the itch when I went back there," he said. "I told the students, 'I should be sitting where you guys are sitting,' and I definitely will consider going back to law school when the time comes, or maybe getting a masters or a Ph.D.," Vinny said. "I want to get a great degree that will take me somewhere awesome."
But before we see him practicing law, Vinny will finish out his ride on the fame train. He may or may not have a new show in the works -- he wouldn't confirm anything -- but he'll be promoting his self-help book starting in April. The book, "Control The Crazy," comes out on April 17, and readers can expect a prescriptive memoir about how Vinny overcame and managed his own anxiety problems.
"It's a triple threat approach for the mind, body and spirit," he told us, adding, "I try to deliver the message in a way that the "Regular Joe" can understand. I know a lot of these self-help books about quieting your mind can get a little complex and I wanted to tell it in a way that is funnier and easy to understand. Sometimes things get tough and you feel like nothing can make you feel better. I give some simple fixes."
