I find this quote by brilliant thinker Krishnamurti to be the best solution to find happiness.
Happiness is merely a byproduct. It is a byproduct of meaning, when you do something that is your calling and when you are able to let go of fear. Fear that often prevents us from doing what we love and forces us to choose poorly.
Next time you really want to do something, big or small, identify if fear is preventing you? Ask yourself: is the fear real? Or could it be just nervousness before a new thing? If so, isn't that quite natural? Can you feel strength and will behind the nervousness? And isn't it stronger? I believe it is. It is the meaning giving you power.
