Vittorio Missoni Plane Still Missing; Bag From Flight Found On Curacao

Bag From Missing Vittorio Missoni Plane Found

The small plane carrying Italian fashion executive Vittorio Missoni and his wife has been missing since Jan. 4. Search parties have yet to find wreckage. But CNN is now reporting that a bag from that flight has been found.

The bag, recovered on the Caribbean island of Curacao, belonged to Italian tourist Giorgio Neri, whose plane took off just moments after Missoni's flight.

Because there was a shortage of cargo space, the bag was placed on Missoni's aircraft.

A German tourist on Curacao found the bag and sent an email to Neri when he returned home.

The twin-engine plane carrying Missoni took off from Los Roques, a string of islands off the coast of Venezuela. Two friends of the couple and two crew members were also aboard the flight.
