Billionaire Berkshire CEO Warren Buffett may be best known for his sage business advice, but like the rest of us, the Oracle of Omaha has not been without his own mentors over the years.
During a Huffington Post/Yahoo! News interview with HuffPost Senior Editor Willow Bay at the Allen & Company conference in Sun Valley, Idaho, Buffett reflected on the most profound advice he's received throughout his life.
"The biggest lesson I got is the power of unconditional love. If you offer that to your child you're 90 percent of the way home. If every parent out there who can extend that to their child at a very young age -- it's going to make for a better human being."
Buffett also discussed his passion for life, revealing a surprisingly sunny view of a world many perceive to be in crisis.
"I've never denied myself anything; I've never denied my family," he said. "This is the best time to be born. your children and grandchildren will have a much better life than you had."
