Washington Post Headline Fail Is Accidentally Raunchy (PICTURE)

PICTURE: Gaddafi's WHAT?

Someone at The Washington Post's Express Magazine World section was probably blushing yesterday, because a headline intended to innocently convey the current situation in Libya ended up sounding more like a frat house punchline.

The word "taint," traditionally used to mean "a trace of bad," is also a slang term for a certain part of the male anatomy. So while the headline is a completely salient phrase on its own, it sounds a little tongue-in-cheek.

The double entendre didn't slip past Post reader @Jessmstephens, who shared a photo of the headline on Twitpic that has since been picked up by sites like The Daily What and started circulating around the blogosphere.

Now the question on everyone's mind: what is this ferreting, and could it be the new planking?
