Don't worry, they'll perform current material, too.

Christian Polanco

Victor Varnado

Comedian Giulia Rozzi has another great show coming up soon with guests Jena Friedman (The Daily Show, Late Show), Christian Polanco (Metro Section, Offstage w/Christian Polanco), Rebecca Vigil (Broadway's Next Hit Musical, Your Love, Our Musical) and Victor Varnado (Conan, Realm of LARP, The Awkward Comedy Show).

Jena Friedman is a stand up comedian, actor, writer and filmmaker. She has worked as a field producer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and has written for Late Show with David Letterman. Her work has been featured in New York Magazine, Vice, Newsweek, Glamour, Time, The Wall Street Journal, Salon, Gawker, Slate, The Huffington Post, Time Out New York and on CBS, MSNBC and Comedy Central. When she's not on tour, Jena can be seen performing stand up and improv at venues such as The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, The Standand The Comedy Cellar in New York.

A native of Brooklyn New York and the son of immigrants from the Dominican Republic, Christian Polanco discovered at an early age that being funny was a way to get people to like you and "not want to beat you up." This was enough motivation for him to pursue comedy. Christian's comedic style has been greatly influenced by such comedians as George Carlin, Conan O'Brien and Chris Rock. While honing his skills in clubs all over New York City, Christian also performs all around the country as well, and has even had the opportunity to perform in Canada and the UK. Recently, he was a part of a comedy bike tour across Ohio where he rode 400 miles across the state and performed 8 shows along the way. He is not a trained cyclist, so his love for comedy is the only thing that carried him along on this very ill-advised endeavor. Outside of being a stand-up comedian, Christian also does a fair amount of acting, writing and improv. He is currently the head writer for an online talk show called "Metro Section,"where he performs on the show as well. Christian has also hosted a popular podcast called "Offstage w/ Christian Polanco", where he interviewed other comedians about how they handled dating and relationships.

Since moving from to New York in 2009, Rebecca Vigil has been performing musical comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Arlene's Grocery, 54 Below, The People's Improv Theatre, Littlefield, Union Hall, Spike Hill, Hunter College, New World Stages, The Triad Theatre, plus many other comedy and music venues (bars) all over New York City. Throughout the year, she tours all over the country with the completely improvised Broadway musical awards show Broadway's Next Hit Musical. She is also co-created and co-stars in the two person improvised musical based on the love story of a real couple in the audience, Rebecca and Evan: Your Love, Our Musical.

Victor Varnado's devilish knack for outrageousness and originality plays out in his personal URL: Varnado has navigated the adversities of born legally blind and an African-American albino with unique sensibilities to become a nationally known actor and comedian and, according to legend, a Jedi. You may recognize him from appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Adult Swim and My Name is Earl - not to mention films with Arnold Schwarzenegger (End of Days), Eddie Murphy (The Adventures of Pluto Nash), Julia Stiles (A Guy Thing) and Werner Herzog (Julien Donkey Boy). Creator and director of Realm of LARP and The Awkward Comedy Show, Victor Varnado has been an active filmmaker, writer and comedian in NYC for over a decade. As a filmmaker, Victor Varnado has succeeded in almost every role. He has co-written a feature film with comic book legend Stan Lee. Victor also directed the feature Twisted Fortune starring Charlie Murphy and Dave Attell for Warner Brothers Pictures. His short films have been featured on Comedy Central's Jump Cuts, and numerous film festivals. "Roboto Supremo", Victor's most recent short features Michel Gondry (Director "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind") as the Japanese speaking mayor of Final Tokyo.

Giulia Rozzi also has a relationship podcast with her IRL boyfriend, comedian Will Miles, called "Hopefully We Don't Break Up", where they talk to other couples openly about dating and love and making it work. Rozzi recently performed at the Brooklyn Comedy Festival in the "IFC & ICE BREAKERS Comedy Showcase Hosted by Julie Klausner" along with Langston Kerman, Sasheer Zamata (SNL), Sean Donnelly, and Julio Torres (SNL's newest writer).

First Set is unlike any other stand-up comedy show because each comic shares old, embarrassing footage of their first set. It's nostalgic, it's hilarious and it's at Union Hall, October 2 at 8:00pm. Get tickets now for the October 2nd show! and follow @GiuliaRozzi on Twitter for the latest updates.
